Drone Surveillance Evicts Illegal Squatters

Data collected by Nitestar Security officers has been used to evict squatters at the Doug Jennings Park, Gold Coast. One man will go before the Southport Magistrates Court for refusing to leave the GCWA managed park.

Nitestar guards have been patrolling the site for the past weeks and Gold Coast Waterways Authority chief executive Hal Morris defended the tough stance saying the crack-down has proven to be a "real success story" and "in the past month illegal camping has dropped to almost zero".

Drone footage has been used as evidence to evict illegal squatters from polluting the local park.
